    Objectives
    • Develop a scientifically understandable CI for our users and customers

    • Development of a database for IT support knowledge
    Responsibilities
    • Creation of high-quality, easy-to-understand and target group-oriented texts (e.g. knowledge articles, user interface texts, online help texts) for stakeholders, journalists and employees
    • Preparation of training materials and workshop contents
    • Conscientious communication and exchange with our product owners and managers, as well as the PR, marketing and social media departments

    Your mission

    We are looking for you to take charge of DevOps at polypoly. You will work closely with the technical lead to identify and establish the relevant practices in the company.

    Objectives
    You will help us build scalable, efficient infrastructure that manages the data flow for our editorial services. Additionally, you will help set up and maintain the environment for automatic security and penetration testing of our decentralized polyPod infrastructure. You’ll implement monitoring for automated system health checks of the polypoly ecosystem. Lastly, you’ll build our CI pipeline, and train and guide the team in DevOps practices.

    Responsibilities
    • Implement and own the CI.
    • Manage CD tooling.
    • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting.
    • Build and maintain highly available production systems.

    Your profile

    Skills and qualifications
    • Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.

    • Inspire us with your passion, experience, knowledge and professionalism
    Responsibilities
    • You will take over the complete responsibility including planning, preparation and implementation for our events, be it conferences, national events or marketing and PR activities
    • You develop the concepts for this together with the responsible persons from marketing, corporate communications and the graphics department
    • You coordinate the trades of all areas and take over external communication
    • And of course you will be on site at every self-organized event and will be in charge of everything

    Objectives
    • Design, implement, test and integrate core security and privacy features in our polypoly products and platform
    • Be the "Security Champion" for the development team
    • Own operational security of your applications
    • Help us to implement security automation into our CI/CD pipelines
    Responsibilities
    • Work as part of the development team to implement security and privacy features
    • Write and maintain secure Javascript code (React, Node)
    • Act as the security champion and mentor other developers on IT security and secure development
    • Work closely with DevOps and QA teams on security automation
    • Triage security issues found by SAST/DAST tools or external vulnerability reporters
